Tme flies, bb is 2 weeks old today! BB has grown bigger and stronger now and always hungry heehee. We love you baby dear.

Baby, mummy loves you alot alot alot alot. Everytime i see you i feel so happy and contented. I want to protect you as much as you can. You are the love of my life. My little boy, you must grow strong and healthy. Daddy and mummy will love you with all our heart and soul.
Today, bb’s umabilical cord dropped off when auntie is changing diaper for bb. It looked like a little worm hee. Small and dried up and dark brown in colour. Today is day 13.
My bb tried to flip to his side today! He zz on his left side today. It really amazed us! Wow so fast we can see him turn 
Our bb has been smiling quite frequently since last week.
It is so heartwarming to see bb smiling. I love my bb alot alot alot alot and i wan to share his every single moments. All the moments are so precious to us.
BB’s jaundice level still not dropped to below 10. Just had a blood test this morning. It went up from 12.3 to 13.8. So so so sad and heartpain. I keep crying today when i see my poor baby sunning under the UV light. My poor baby. Bb u mut get well soon. Mummy and daddy love you lots!
Our boy’s jaundice is quite high. When he leave hospital on Mon, it is 12.3 and his weight dropped from 3.005 kg to 2.760 kg. When we went back to see PD on Wed, his jaundice shot to 17 though he has gained back his weight to 3.015. PD suggested us to either rent the light back home to “sun” him or to put him in hospital for “sunning”. We chose to bring him home as it will be better for breast feeding. Our poor baby.
When we went back for the blood test today, his jaundice came down to 12.3 again. Good news for us. However as it is still above 10, we need to continue sunning him for another 3 days until next Monday when we go back for the blood test again.
It is so heartbreaking to see your own kid going through the light therapy to remove his jaundice. 
He has to be bared bodied to do it. Such a small body putting under the light. So heart wrenching.

5 am : woke up and start to prepare to go to hospital
610 am : reach Mount Alvenia Hospital
615 am : registration
630 am : check into room and start preparing for the c-sec
750 am : pushed in Operating Theatre
800 am : start the epidural
815 am : Dr Fong arrive and start the op
(Dr Fong showed daddy mummy’s placenta and a short while later he commented that bb leong is wearing a tie! The Doc who injected the epidural commented that there are 5 rounds. What?! What 5 rounds?! It turned out that the umbilical cord was around bb leong’s neck and there are 4 rounds!)
830 am : BB leong’s 1st cry was heard!
It was a terrifying experience luckily Dr Fong didn’t try to turn bb leong around.
He weigh a hefty of 3.005kg and is 49 cm long!
This is our beloved bb leong.
We were blessed with our little fella.
Yes, it’s me again. After almost weeks if not months of MIA, i am back with one pathetic post.
We are going into the theatre in another 9 hours. No it’s not a cinema. It’s an operating theatre. We are going to visit the dreaded section C. We hope to bring back happy tidings and share our experience there.We have to opt for elective cesarean because the baby boy is still in the breech position and it would be more dangerous according to our gynae to both the baby and the mother. So here we are, soon heading to bed.
We are basically packed to the brim, we have tons of clothes. *i think*, but often my wife begs to differ. I guess women been women always pack heavier? I myself i got all my gear and gadgets Men love gadgets like woman loves diamond.
I brought along the following to capture every moment.
- Fuji Point and shoot camera
- Canon 300D, 580ex flash, 50mm prime, 28-135mm
- JVC video camera.
- Velbon tripod
- Dell E1505
- Creative webcam
- Huawei 3.5G usb modem, just got it today. Going to use it to get online while at the hospital.
- Tons of batteries, CF cards, mini DV tapes
Hopefully i can get justin.tv or ustream.tv and can upload some actions from baby. I have already started to tape some short snippets of us welcoming baby. Going to take more and more as we approach the theatre.
Please please, please pray for us. We hope that baby will be healthy and strong.
Oh yes, we still haven confirmed a name for our dear baby.
Daddy got a speeding ticket on 7 July. Going to deduct 6 points! Oh my. Daddy got to learn to slow down. After umpteen nagging by mummy and grandma he is still driving too fast. Hiaz.
This fri is the day that bb leong is scheduled to arrive in this world! The date is decided by grandma after discussion with uncle leong. This is friday is a good date as compared to wed, thur and saturday. Mummy and daddy is getting excited and anxious! We can’t wait to see you. BB be strong k. Mummy will be strong.
