I simply love this picture of baby Nathan. He is so cute. His smile really melts all our hearts. We love baby alot alot alot alot.
This is baby Nathan’s full month cake. So sweet right? I’m so glad i ordered this cake. I can’t imagine Nathan had no cake for his full month though he didn’t get to eat it or see it. Will show him next time. The cake taste really good. It was dark chocolate with raisins.
As of last wed, Nathan is 4.335 kg! He is much chubbier now. His arms and legs are so yummy now heehee. Got a feeling chicken thigh is coming up soon.
It has been 1 week since confinement nanny left. We survived! Barely survived i mean. 
So tired, so shacked.
The night feed is driving us crazy ah.
But looking at our super cute baby everything is worth it. We love you so much our little fella, our little angel.
Have been feeling so sad and low these few days. Auntie is leaving tomorrow. So fast. After one month of staying together, i’ve grown attached to her. Now that she’s leaving, i feel so lost. Will i be able to cope when she’s gone? Will i be a good mummy?
Nathan is 4 weeks old!! So fast.
Today is his baby shower. Yeah.
Hope we can take many memorable shots for him to see next time when he gets older.

His baby shower is at Auntie Yiling and Uncle Benson’s condo at The Dew (Bukit Batok). Starts at 5 pm. So exciting!

No, please don’t use that safety nail clipper, it’s harder to use. Just use the nice scissor that is meant for cutting nails for super infants. Do let them sleep while you are “operating” so that they don’t struggle, but still be careful and do not disturb the gentle giant.
It was on the 7th of August 2009, that I finally went down to ICA to register for Nathan’s birth certificate. It has past the 2 weeks registration period for it to be done in the hospital. It was considered a late registration. Opps.
The hospital provided a one stop service, allowing us to register for birth and to complete the baby bonus package. However as we are undecided on the name, and we were waiting for the chinese name to be calculated, hoping that it will bring good health/luck/wisdom to him, we did’nt do the registration at the hospital. We were also uncertain of what english name to give him.
It was a quick registration, taking less than 15 mins at the ICA, i was impressed by the staff quick entry of the chinese character even traditional chinese! Lesson learnt, go to ICA if you can, it’s fast and it’s cheaper. Just make sure you are there slightly earlier, so that you can be the first few. Don’t be worried by the long queue in front of you when waiting to go into ICA, as most of them are there to do their passport.

Our baby is a gift from god, it has never came easy for us, especially so after we lost our first one. We have learnt to treasure this gift even more. After all the ordeals and trials, he is finally safe and arrived. For those of you who did’nt know, he had 4 rounds of umbilical cord around his neck when he came out via cesarean section. We initially wanted the doctor to perform external cephalic version(ECV) to help turn the baby. He advise against it and fortunately we heeded his advice, else it might be disastrous
His chinese name

Qi is part of the jia pu, which we followed.
We hope that his name will be good for him.
As an after thought, i realised that “today” was actually 070809, a nice number for birth registration
